If you are interested in struggling in this business, you can try to be fashion designer. Fashion designer plays important role in the making of garment. Fashion designer is the one that has the idea about the model, shape, color, proportion, and texture of the garment. Fashion designers often sketch their ideas on paper. Later, the sketch will be turned into real garment.

Most of fashion designers are formally trained. There are many schools of design that you can enter if you are interested in this field. Later, you can work in a fashion company as in-house designers. You can also work in apparel wholesaler to design garments for mass market. Alternatively, you can work for yourself and sell your designs to fashion houses.

If you want to be noticed as a creditable fashion designer you have to be innovative and have your own characteristic in designing the garment. You need to have good intuition and good taste in order to predict whether your design will attract buyers or not. Just be you and be creative.
